Former Perth CBD cinema The Liberty Theatre will be reborn for the first time since 1997 after two rare projectors were restored to screen an eclectic mix of oldschool movies at the landmark building.
The forgotten theatre was gutted in the late 90s and is currently earmarked for reactivation after property mogul Randal Humich’s Southern Cross Properties got State planning approval in September last year to refurbish it, along with a row of shops on Barrack Street.
